International Welcome Week
International Welcome Week is now completed - but don't worry if you missed it.
Visit the Welcome Festival on Thursday 13th February to meet and chat with staff from a wide range of services across the university. There'll also be free refreshments, music, entertainment....and an opportunity to try out some circus skills!
Teams at the event will include -
- ÃÛÌÒ´«Ãºmv Careers - advice and support on finding work, applying for jobs and developing your skills;
- International Student Support - guidance on registering with a doctor and opening a bank account;
- Healthy ÃÛÌÒ´«Ãºmv - activities, hints and tips to support your health and wellbeing at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ãºmv;
- ÃÛÌÒ´«Ãºmv Money Advice - get advice on how to budget and manage your money.
Whether you're an existing student or you've arrived on campus recently - everyone is welcome. Drop-in to the ground floor of the Campus Centre, anytime between 11am and 3pm. Please note that there will be a quiet hour between 11am and 12pm.
We are running further in-person Orientation sessions during February for new international students, which will cover key topics such as healthcare, opening a bank account and looking after your visa status. Look out for further information about this by email from your Faculty Advice Centre and International Student Support.
We also recorded key International Welcome Week information sessions; registered students will receive a link by email to watch these sessions online.
There's also lots of information about arriving, living and studying at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ãºmv in the International Student Guide.
