Newborn Infant and Physical Examination in Practice (NIPEP)

This module is for students who have undertaken NIPE theory as part of their undergraduate midwifery degree and will enable midwives to undertake the practice element leading to them becoming NIPE practitioners.

Entry Criteria

  • Effective registration with the NMC / HPC or other relevant professional body
  • Undertaken successful level 4/5 academic study
  • Completed NIPE theory at undergraduate level
  • Currently be employed in practice and have the support of their manager in undertaking the module
